The New Konstellation Litepaper Is Now Available
Due to the changing scope of Konstellation ecosystem and recent updates by our product and development teams, we decided to rewrite the Konstellation Whitepaper. The goals for the Konstellation project and the products that will help us achieve these goals have changed slightly, so we decided it was time to create a lite paper to more accurately reflect them.
We are pleased to announce that the new Konstellation lite paper has been published and is now available on our new website!
Highlights From The New Konstellation Lite paper
In the Konstellation lite paper we described the evolution of Konstellation, the core components of the Konstellation Network, our focus on forming a decentralized capital markets infrastructure, new projects that will be included in the Konstellation Ecosystem, thoughts on the future of Konstellation and the blockchain industry, Konstellation’s token economy and governance, and more.
The impact of the Konstellation lite paper and the goals that we are working to achieve are best understood by reading the entire paper, however, here are some highlights from it.
The Evolution Of Konstellation
Konstellation was born from DarcMatter and was initially focused on the fund and alternative asset management space. We wanted to seamlessly connect funds and the various components of the asset management industry with investors to make the process much more efficient and free of conflict.
There are two primary aspects that we learned during our blockchain journey; in order to connect many of these players they would need to move on-chain which was still in the very early stages, and there were still a lot of infrastructures that needed to be built in the industry. At the same time, there was an explosion of tools and protocols that all served their purpose in improving the blockchain and DeFi ecosystem.
Konstellation Network
Konstellation intends to be the ‘financial services industry hub’ for the Cosmos ecosystem, strategically communicating with other public blockchains as needed. We believe that Cosmos’ features and the products in the Tendermint Inc. suite will enable Konstellation to unlock the true power of DeFi’s composability.
Decentralized Capital Markets Infrastructure
The beauty of a decentralized capital market lies in the fact that here, technology enables investors to interact directly with other market participants. This allows buyers, sellers, and dealers to transact in the capital markets irrespective of where they are located. This has been made possible by the advent of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
