Announcement: Support for DARC-24B Has Ended

WHY IS SUPPORT FOR DARC-24B ENDING?

The DARC-24B token will no longer be supported by Konstellation network.

To reiterate: DARC-24B will no longer be supported and has no functional utility.

This decision stems from the following two actions:

• The airdrop of a new DARC token, DARC-087, on Binance Chain, which makes DARC-24B obsolete.
• The launch of DARC SWAP and Konstellation Bridge.

In essence, DARC-24B must be retired, as it cannot be used in either DARC SWAP or Konstellation Bridge. This is why DARC-087 was airdropped at a 1:1 ratio to DARC-24B holders.

Most importantly, the retirement of DARC-24B, and the airdrop of the interoperable DARC-087, is the first step towards getting DARC listed on PancakeSwap.

WHAT VERSIONS OF DARC ARE SUPPORTED?

With the airdrop and bridging mechanisms, DARC is now a token existing on Konstellation, Binance Chain, and Binance Smart Chain:

• DARC-087 → Binance Chain DARC, allows DARC holders to swap to Konstellation + BSC
• DARC-BEP20 → Binance Smart Chain DARC, allows DARC holders to use DARC in dapps, such as PancakeSwap
• DARC → Konstellation DARC, allows DARC holders to stake via Hubble wallet and utilize Konstellation dapps

WHY ARE THERE MULTIPLE VERSIONS OF DARC?

Enabling users to transfer DARC across multiple chains is an integral part of Konstellation’s plan of building infrastructure for global decentralized capital markets. Multi-chain DARC is THE reason Konstellation mainnet is built on Cosmos.

Integration with Cosmos’s IBC protocol and the Cosmos SDK offers excellent connectivity and interoperability within the Cosmos ecosystem. In addition, as Cosmos is inherently a connector of blockchains, DARC transfers to new networks, like Ethereum and Solana, should be possible in the future.
